Recently, the 2026 Dalian Summer Davos Forum concluded successfully. With their solid professional competence, Wang Yingbin, Zhang Ying, and Xu Mengyu, three teachers from the College of Foreign Languages and International Education of our university, provided full-process reception and interpretation support for key foreign delegations.
During the forum, the three teachers respectively served the delegation led by the Lord Provost of Glasgow, UK, the Indonesian delegation, and the delegation from Morocco’s Ministry of Energy Transition and Sustainable Development. With a high level of professionalism and a strong sense of responsibility, they participated in every part of the work, including official meetings, venue guidance, and site visits. They meticulously delivered on each task to ensure a smooth and orderly reception process, fully demonstrating the professional demeanor and comprehensive competence of university teachers in the new era.
In this work, the three teachers served as foreign guest liaisons, and their outstanding performance showed our university’s educational standards and the spirit of its faculty and students, effectively enhanced Dalian’s international profile and image of openness, contributed positively to deepening exchanges between Dalian and its friendship cities and consolidating the foundation for practical cooperation, and performed well in telling Dalian’s story and amplifying Dalian’s voice to the world.
