时间:2026-06-23

On June 10th, the 2026 Liaoning International Friendship Cities Conference, themed “Liaoning: Wisdom & Friendship Cities Forward Together”, opened in Shenyang. Liu Wenhe, Vice President of our university, attended the conference, and invited the delegation led by Komolitdin Sadriddinovich, Vice-Rector of Tashkent State Agrarian University of Uzbekistan, which is our friendly partner institution, to participate in the event. The leaders of the International Exchange and Cooperation Office of our university accompanied them to the conference.

Hosted by the People’s Government of Liaoning Province, the conference adheres to the “Friendship Cities+” concept and focuses on international cooperation in education, science and technology. Representatives from friendship cities, regions and organizations, as well as delegates from the education and tech sectors of over 50 countries, together with diplomatic envoys to China and consuls general in Shenyang of relevant countries, gathered for a series of exchange activities centered on international cooperation in these two fields.

During the conference, Liu Wenhe held in-depth exchanges with representatives of multiple foreign universities and institutions, and reached inter-university cooperation intentions with universities and institutions including the University of Toulouse in France. The two sides will carry out cooperation in joint scientific research, academic exchanges and marine technology R&D in the future. In addition, the Memorandum of Understanding signed between our university and Tashkent State Agrarian University was officially included in the cooperation achievements of the 2026 Liaoning International Friendship Cities Conference.

This in-depth participation in the conference alongside international partners is an important measure for our university to actively integrate into the overall context of regional opening up and serve the joint construction of the Belt and Road Initiative through educational cooperation. It has effectively enhanced the university’s international influence and openness in education.
