Recently, Essential Science Indicators (ESI) published its latest disciplinary monitoring data. The core indicators of Environmental Science and Ecology at our university have achieved steady growth, and the discipline has officially ranked among the ESI global top 1%. To date, our university boasts two disciplines listed in the ESI global top 1%, achieving new breakthroughs in disciplinary development and international influence.
ESI is an internationally recognized authoritative evaluation tool to measure disciplinary level, academic influence and scientific research performance. Being ranked among the global top 1% indicates the discipline has reached an international advanced level. Previously, Plant and Animal Science of our university has long maintained its position in the ESI global top 1%. The successful inclusion of Environmental Science and Ecology is a remarkable achievement of our university through adhering to distinctive development, optimizing disciplinary layout and strengthening scientific research innovation.
