时间:2026-01-15

On November 18th, the International Edition of People’s Daily published an article titled “Jointly Cultivating ‘New-Quality Technician’ in Fisheries”, reporting on the 2025 Autumn Session of the “New Quality Technician” Vocational Skills Training. This program, hosted by the International Cooperation Center of the National Development and Reform CommissionNDRCand organized by our university, focuses on sustainable development in marine fisheries. The program specifically offers two courses for Indonesian participants: “Marine Aquaculture” and “Fisheries Capture and Cold Storage Management”, with a four-week duration, aiming to cultivate international marine talents equipped with modern technological expertise and innovation. The training adopts a “theory teaching + practical exercises + case studies” approach. Beyond classroom learning, participants engage in hands-on practice through laboratory sessions and field visits to enterprises.

Muhammad Rommy Fauzi, CEO of Indonesia's Abata Group, as the representative of the trainees, highly praised the training outcomes. He stated that the program deepened his and many Indonesian participants’ understanding of China’s fisheries development. They knew how close collaboration among the Chinese government, universities, research institutions, and enterprises has formed a cooperative force driving high-quality fisheries development. “This model of industry-academia-research integration is highly worth learning,” Fazhi said. After many Indonesian trainees have returned to their home country, they are actively promoting partnerships with Chinese universities and institutions, planning joint teaching and research in fisheries technology, education, training, sustainable development and other sectors. “In the future, Indonesia and China can expand more practical cooperations in sustainable fisheries, technological innovation, and full industry chain collaboration to jointly advance marine sustainability”.
