Recently, Liaoning Daily · Liaowang APP and Yingkou Radio and Television Station reported on the “Yingkou City Marine and Fishery Administrative Law Enforcement Professional Competency Enhancement Training Program” organized by the Crew Training College of our university. The training involved more than 300 local fishery administrative law enforcement personnel. Focusing on the core tasks of current fishery safety production, the training adopted a modular teaching model combining “theory teaching + practical exercises” to enhance the professional competence and duty performance ability of the law enforcement team.
During the training, teachers from our university and senior industry experts interpreted major hidden danger criteria in vessels in light of the current fishery safety production situation and relevant policies, laying emphasis on law enforcement personnel’s ability to identify hidden dangers in fishing vessels. In the practical exercises part, scenario-based drills were conducted to further improve the comprehensive professional skills of participants.
Participants generally reported that through this training, they gained clearer understanding and mastery of hidden danger inspections for actual vessels, emergency duty, pre-sailing self-inspection, and major hidden danger criteria, providing clear references for future law enforcement work and contributing to better service for fishermen and the safeguard of fishery safety production.
