NSG Education Group from Niigata Prefecture, Japan, Visits Our University

On May 15th, Hideki Makiura, Director of the International Promotion Office of NSG Education Group from Niigata Prefecture, Japan, led a delegation of 6 members on a visit to our university. Zheng Peng, Director of the International Exchange & Cooperation Office, received Director Makiura and his delegation in the Second Conference Room of the Administration Building and held a symposium. Both sides engaged in in-depth exchanges regarding educational cooperation matters.

During the meeting, Zheng Peng welcomed the visit of Director Makiura and his delegation. He reviewed the existing cooperative foundation between the university and Japanese institutions in areas such as student exchange and scientific research collaboration, noting that the visit by NSG Education Group has injected new vitality into bilateral cooperation.

Hideki Makiura provided a detailed introduction to the educational characteristics of the universities under the NSG Education Group, covering multiple disciplinary fields such as business management, medical welfare, and food agriculture. He expressed anticipation for exploring innovative cooperation models with our university in interdisciplinary studies and practical education.

After the meeting, Hideki Makiura and his delegation visited our university's Modern Aquatic Seed Breeding Center.

It is reported that NSG Education Group has been deeply involved in the education sector of Niigata Prefecture, Japan, for many years, adhering to the educational philosophy of Integration of Theory and Practice. The group owns multiple universities including Niigata University of Graduate Institute for Entrepreneurial Studies, Niigata University of Health and Welfare, Kaishi Professional University, and Niigata Agro-Food University. Its disciplines cover fields such as MBA business management, rehabilitation therapy, anime design, and the entire industrial chain of food agriculture. Some of these universities offer tuition waivers and scholarships for international students, and all affiliated universities are officially recognized by the Chinese Ministry of Education as accredited Japanese institutions of higher education.
