On April 29th, Ha-Kyeon Lee, Head of China Programs at Pukyong National University, South Korea, and delegation visited our university. Zheng Peng, Director of the International Exchange & Cooperation Office, received Ms. Lee and her delegation in the Second Conference Room of the Administration Building and held a symposium. Cui Yongguang, Associate Dean of the College of Foreign Languages and International Education, participated in the discussion.
During the meeting, Zheng Peng welcomed the visit of Ms. Lee and her delegation, and reviewed the 24-year cooperative history between the two universities. He pointed out that as one of South Korea's top ten national universities, Pukyong National University ranks among Asia's top 3 in Marine and Fisheries Science, demonstrating outstanding disciplinary strength. He expressed hope to strengthen student exchange programs between both institutions, and leverage their respective advantages in marine and fisheries sciences to carry out scientific research collaboration and joint graduate training programs.
Ha-Kyeon Lee stated that she would actively connect with relevant faculty mentors and departments at Pukyong National University to advance cooperation between the two universities. She also shared new initiatives by Pukyong National University in promoting educational internationalization, expressing anticipation for further deepening the cooperative relationship between the two institutions.
