On May 17th, Prof. Mark Pichard Poustie, Dean of College of Humanities and Social Sciences at University College Cork(UCC) of Ireland visited DLOU. Zhang Su, Deputy Director of the International Exchange and Cooperation Office, and Wang Lili, Deputy Dean of the School of Marine Law and Humanities received the guests.
After extending a warm welcome to the delegation, Zhang Su gave an overview of DLOU about university-running features, talent cultivation and international exchange. She hoped to establish substantive cooperation with UCC by joint education and faculty exchange. Wang Lili gave a brief introduction to the School of Marine Law and Humanities in talent cultivation and scientific research, expressing her hopes to take this opportunity to have the collaboration with College of Humanities and Social Sciences at UCC in joint student education.
Prof. Mark Pichard Poustie expressed his gratitude to DLOU for the warm welcome. He introduced the history, discipline construction and international cooperation of UCC. He also hoped to build a collaborative mechanism by giving full play to the two universities respective advantages.
