On March 8th, Sivanand Ray, General Manager of Personnel and Training of Hong Kong Pacific Basin Shipping Ltd. led a delegation to Dalian Ocean University. Vice President Zhang Guochen received the guests.
After extending a warm welcome to the delegation, Vice President Zhang Guochen gave an overview of DLOU in terms of talent cultivation, university-enterprise cooperation and social services. He pointed out that DLOU attaches great importance to the cooperation with Pacific Basin Shipping Ltd. and have jointly cultivated a large number of excellent talents for the marine industry over the years. It is hoped that Pacific Basin Shipping Ltd. could offer more employment opportunities for the graduates of DLOU to meet the needs of the social development.
Sivanand Ray expressed his thanks to DLOU for the welcome and the support. He gave full recognition to the graduates of DLOU who work in Pacific Basin Shipping Ltd. and expressed his hope to strengthen the substantive cooperation in the years ahead.
Present at the meeting were the staff members of the International Exchange and Cooperation Office (Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan Affairs Office), and School of Navigation and Ship Engineering.
