A joint study tour was held online between the School of Foreign Languages and International Education of Dalian Ocean University (DLOU) and City University of Malaysia on April 21st and May 12th. The event was co-presided by Sun Xiangshan, Deputy Secretary of the School of Foreign Languages and International Education of DLOU, and Alvin, Director of International Exchange Center of City University of Malaysia. More than 40 teachers and students from both universities attended the study tour online.
The programs of the study tour included the university profiles of both sides, the introduction of the cultivation and education of international students, online Chinese teaching demonstration class, culture lecture on Malaysian festivals, and communication among the students of the two universities. Zhang Ying, head of the Professional English Teaching and Research Section of DLOU, and Luo Yin, head of the Chinese Teaching and Research Section of DLOU attended the event as the instructors.
This online study tour, as an academic exchange activity under the framework of the cooperation agreement between the two universities, aimed to enhance the mutual trust and understanding and laid a good foundation for the future student exchange and training of international students.
