On May 23rd, 2019, a delegation of three people led by President of Russian Far Eastern State Technical Fisheries University, Shcheka Oleg Leonidovich visited Dalian Ocean University (DLOU). Song Linsheng, President of DLOU received the guests.
After extending his warm welcome to the delegation, President Song briefly introduced the history and current situation of DLOU. President Song said that the China-Russia friendship has constantly deepened, and he hoped that the two universities could take this chance to seek more opportunities for collaboration in student training, faculty exchange, and scientific research.
President Oleg expressed his thanks for the warm reception. He briefly introduced the latest development of Far Eastern State Technical Fisheries University and said that the main purpose of his visit was to deepen the cooperation with DLOU, especially in the fields of aquaculture and marine science.
During the discussion, the two presidents expressed their confidence to promote closer and further cooperation between the two universities and boost common development.
Also in attendance were Director and representatives from the International Exchange and Cooperation Office of DLOU.
